Levels

In order to make sure that your escape room experience is as fun and complete as possible, we offer a number of different 'level' options which can be used to tailor the tasks included within your adventure.  Therefore if you're a group of 2 players taking on your first room, or a group of 6 players with a host of games under your belt, we hope you will feel suitably challenged!

As a general guide, we'd suggest the following advice when booking:

Level 1: For teams who have not previously played any escape rooms, or smaller teams who have limited experience.

Level 2: Teams who have played a number of games previously, or larger groups who have some prior experience.

We've listed below the main differences between the Level 1 and Level 2 options for each room to help you decide which challenge may be most suitable for your team to take on.

The Cabin in the Woods

The level 2 version of this room contains two additional puzzles when compared to level 1, one being classed as easy, one being classed as medium in difficulty level, as well as containing less sign posting for a couple of tasks.  The level 1 version of the room is already pretty challenging (deemed 4/5) and so please bare this in mind when considering your choice.  On the whole this room is linear in game flow.

The Bank Job: The Ultimate Gamble

The level 2 version of this room contains three additional tasks in comparison to level 1.  Two of these puzzles are mandatory and are deemed as easy difficulty.  One puzzle is optional and is deemed as medium difficulty.

The level 2 puzzles in this game make the latter part of the game non-linear, and so smaller groups should bare this in mind as they may be required to split up to complete the tasks if remaining time is limited.

The Hideaway

The level 2 version of this room contains two additional tasks in comparison to level 1, one being deemed as easy and the other deemed as medium difficulty.  The Level 2 version also includes one 'optional' puzzle, deemed to be hard difficulty.

This room is largely linear with a minor part of the game being non-linear.  Please be aware that the level 1 version is deemed as being 4/5 difficulty and can also be deemed as being challenging.

Martha: The Haunting of Derwent Manor

The level 2 version of this room contains two additional tasks, one being deemed as easy and one being deemed as medium difficulty, as well the level 1 version containing additional sign posting for a couple of puzzles.  This game is linear in game flow.  Please be aware the level 1 version of this game is considered to be 4/5 difficulty and is therefore deemed to be challenging.
